    NSF will continue to gather community input from funded HSI conferences to inform future components of, or modifications to, the HSI Program. The Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) program is a foundation-wide effort to accelerate improvements in the quality and effectiveness of the education of undergraduates in all STEM fields.   A proposal that, beginning Aug. 1, will provide greater flexibility for student-athletes to participate in a foreign exchange or study abroad program recognized by the school during the nonchampionship segment without it triggering eligibility concerns.

    The student must get approval from two faculty readers by August 31 after their first year on a page proposal. Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) America’s largest regional interstate tuition savings program. The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is an agreement among WICHE’s 16 member states and territories, through which + participating public colleges and universities provide steep nonresident tuition savings for Western students.

Participation in a graduate exchange program requires careful consideration and significant preparation. Unlike traditional undergraduate study abroad programs, these exchange programs are less structured and require participants to take proactive action with minimal guidance. Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) or Central Plains (CP) tuition represents a substantial savings relative to normal, out-of-state tuition.
